In good company

Regional lunches are a popular part of the Police Legacy agenda as they enable our legatees to get together at a variety of fine dining venues throughout Victoria in company with others who have come from similar backgrounds.

The Peninsula Country Golf Club, Frankston was the venue for our first get-together for 2008. Legatees and police guests from Frankston all enjoyed a great meal and the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The police were a hit with those present but it is not hard to get a Victoria Police fan club together when you are in the company of police legatees. Our new Field Officer was also introduced to the guests.

Why do we refer to them as fellowship lunches?

Our lunches are referred to as fellowship lunches because apart from the great menus by 1st class chefs, they also provide opportunities for legatees to meet others, start and renew friendships, discuss common issues and mix with local police representatives. So you see, there is more to it than just a meal!
