VPL Children’s picnic held at Collingwood Children’s Farm Sunday 9th October 2016

This is a new initiative for VPL commencing in 2015 for our Legacy families with young children under the age of 12 to come together.

It enables parents to catch up with each other and children to bond and play with other legatees the same age. We enjoyed the company of 14 parents and 22 children this year. This event has proven to be successful with our numbers doubling from last year.

Everyone had fun with activities such as:

  • Cow Milking
  • Guineapig cuddles
  • Tractor rides
  • Guided walk and feed tour with farm staff
  • Face painting / balloon twisting
  • Lunch and gift bags.

Some of our little legatees showing off their face painting and hand puppets that they discovered in their VPL gift bags.

Fun Tractor rides around the Collingwood Children’s farm- Our host for the day Andrew made the day fun and was wonderful engaging with the children.
