Celebrating 100 Years of Women in Policing

This year Victoria Police Celebrates 100 Years of Women in Policing. At our Christmas Lunch, we were privileged to have a parade of uniforms from the past and present.

In July 1917, Madge Conner and Elizabeth Beers began duty as Victoria Police's first Police Women.

From the first two people women to the first female Chief Commissioner of Police, Victoria Police has a proud history of women in policing.    Click here for  presentation put together for the celebration.
