Volunteer With Us

By volunteering at Victoria Police Legacy you’ll be helping us deliver important services to over 1,500 police legatees, all of whom have lost a loved one. Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the lives of our police legacy families.

We are always looking for people wanting to contribute their time and skills. Join us in the office, share your professional skills remotely or help out at an event or in our fundraising efforts. We also very much welcome organisations that can provide pro-bono services and advice and discounted project-based work. Pro-bono work can range from gardening and handy man work to financial advisory services and everything in between.

Who Can Volunteer

We have a number of current and retired Victoria Police members who volunteer their time as bus drivers and photographers on our trips and getaways, as well as our VPL Connect telephone welfare program. We are always seeking more members to assist us with this important work.

Anyone over the age of 18 years can volunteer to assist with administration work, fundraising events and activities and pro-bono work.

Talk to us about your interests and skills and we’ll find a way for you to support our police legacy families.
