Our annual Family Trip at Nagambie Lakes Discovery Park has come to an end, but the memories will last a lifetime! Children and parents enjoyed a short break away over the school holidays to connect with other police legacy families. There were activities-a-plenty to keep the kids entertained, and many opportunities for parents to catch up and relax.

Highlights of the trip included a dinner at the Nagambie Rowing Club, a day out on the lake with Go Adventures, utilising stand up paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boats, tinnies and even a pontoon, an impromptu afternoon visit to the Wacky Splash and Play inflatable water park, a delicious Mitchelton Winery lunch, and a relaxed evening by the lake with face painters, a balloonist, magician, a Mexican buffet feast and a very special visit by VPL's newest recruit - Kuddles the Koala. It’s hard to believe we fit all this fun into just 3 days!

A huge 'THANKS' to Leading Senior Constable Mitchell Bull from Shepperton Proactive Policing unit for joining us at 'Go Adventures', Seymour Highway Patrol Senior Constable Paul Swan and Seymour uniform Sergeant Geoffrey Shaw for stopping past on the last evening, and to VPL Ambassador Senior Constable Charlotte Peak for joining in the water sports fun.

The VPL Family Trip is a wonderful experience for parents and children alike, and we're already counting down to the next family adventure in 2025!
