It was a morning to remember on Wednesday 6th November as we welcomed the winners of the VPL 'Capturing a moment in time' Photography Competition to the Victoria Police Centre for a special VIP Awards Ceremony. Excitement filled the air as guests arrived, eager to view the many outstanding entries on display.
Congratulations to our overall major prize winner and category winner, VPL Ambassador Acting Sergeant Charlotte Peak, who was thrilled to walk away with a Nikon Z50 camera + 16-50 mm lens to the value of $1699.95, kindly sponsored by Photography Studies College, a Take Shape Adventures Hike Pass and an A2 print of her winning entry.
Congratulations to our category winners; Remembrance - Lewis Warner, A touch of blue - Danielle Haddrick, Home - Jarrod Allison, Hopes & Dreams - Charlotte Peak, and People & Places - Jenny Pavlou who won a ‘Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre From Above’ book by professional landscape photographer Tom Putt, a one year subscription to Australian Photography Magazine, a $50 Camera House voucher and an A3 print, kindly supplied by PSC Print Shop.
A very special mention to our Victoria Police Legacy Patron’s (CCP) award winner, Steve McKee, who was presented his award by VPL Patron, Chief Commissioner Shane Patton APM, and received an Entourage Travel two night “Weekend Away” package and an A3 print, kindly supplied by PSC Print Shop.
Congratulations to the VPL Chair’s Award recipient, Brianna Lyons, who won a Global Ballooning flight for two, a one-night stay at the Yarra Valley Lodge, and an A3 print kindly supplied by PSC Print Shop.
