At the Epping RSL our CEO Lex de Man was presented with a cheque for an amazing $4,020.00 by the Northern Classic Cruisers (NCC), which was raised at their car and motorbike show held at the Epping RSL on Sunday 27th March 2022. The cheque also includes a fantastic donation of $500.00 from the Epping RSL.
This is the largest amount of funds raised at any one car show by the NCC and reflects the great support received from community members who gave a gold coin donation to view the astonishing cars and motor bikes that were on display. A huge ’THANK YOU’ to Nez Demaj and the volunteers from the NCC, Narelle Hart and the team at the Epping RSL, the car and motorbike enthusiast who brought along their fantastic machines for viewing and the event sponsors and supporters for making the day such a success!
This NCC fundraising event followed on from the success of a morning tea held by the NCC in January of this year, at Jay Leno’s Garage, where they raised $3,755.00. This means that so far this year the NCC have raised $7,775.00 in support of their charity, ‘Victoria Police Legacy’, a great effort by a great community-based group! The funds that have been raised will go to support young police legatees within the policing family who have lost a loved one. ‘THANK YOU’!
