A wonderful group of police legatees enjoyed staying at the Island Bay Ranch in Phillip Island last week where they spent time catching up with old friends and making new ones. Activities included dinner at the San Remo Hotel, a visit to the National Vietnam Veterans Museum and a fantastic fishing charter.
The 'Men's Getaway' is a new initiative that came out of a forum we held last September on how we can continue to enhance support to male police legatees. The forum was a great opportunity for the group to come together to provide their feedback on VPL's support and assistance with connection events.
We're pleased to say that the trip was a huge success, and we are looking forward to the next one!
