Police Legatees enjoy City Getaway

Published: Monday 20 May 2024

Police Legatees enjoyed a Melbourne City Getaway to remember earlier this month, with fun and fellowship at the forefront. The four action packed days included a delicious Melbourne City Chocolate Walking Tour, Wicked the Musical at the Regent Theatre, tours of the Shrine of Remembrance and Victoria Barracks, a lunch at The Terrace at the Royal Botanic Gardens, dinners at Pepe’s Italian Restaurant and Cookie, and a Melbourne River Dinner Cruise to cap off the wonderful few days. It was wonderful to see the rekindling of old friendships, and the making of new ones.

A huge 'THANKS' to VPL Ambassador Inspector Gerry Cartwright and VPL Volunteers Georg Berk and Janine Lindsay for joining police legatees at various events throughout the getaway.
