What better way to cap off Run4Blue than a day on the Victoria Police Academy athletics track today, at a fantastic BBQ lunch event which raised $1,904.15 for Victoria Police Legacy.
It was great to see many Victoria Police Squads come together to keep the Run4Blue medal circulating around the track as participants walked (or ran) to raise funds to support those within the police family who have lost a loved one.
A huge 'THANKS' to Sergeant Phoebe Garside and the PDC Women in Policing Local Committee (WIPLC), Victoria Police Squad Managers, Members of Squad 34 and 37, and Acting Commander Anne Rudd.
A special mention to VPL Ambassadors Acting Superintendent Samantha Knight and Sergeant Diana Quick for joining us, along with VPL mascot Kuddles the Koala who was quite the track super star!
