Police Legatee Charlie Hicks raises over $7,800.00 for VPL
Police Legatee Charlie Hicks competed in the Geelong Half Ironman on Sunday and not only did he finish the tough 1.9km swim, 90km cycle and 21.1km run in a great time of 4 hours and 57 minutes, but also as his own initiative to give back, has raised over $7,800.00 for Victoria Police Legacy.
End of an era for VPL Volunteer Police Veteran Glen Riddle
What a fantastic evening it was in Warrnambool Tuesday evening celebrating the retirement, as a VPL Volunteer, of Police Veteran Glen Riddle who with the support of wife Pauline, has been supporting local police legatees and their families since 1977 in the states southwest well prior to the inception of VPL in 1980.
